LOSERPALOOZA went down last weekend in Vancouver, BC - there were 35 vintage choppers in the Pipe Shop Venue that came to town from all over Canada and the West Coast. There were 20 artists that had their art hung on display, 2 tattooers, a fully functioning bar, a tin-type photographer, a chain-stitch embroiderer, a hammock gazebo and more. The 2 day event is an every-second-year event and is planned to happen again in 2020. Here’s some photos of the show by Willie Leak:
Spent last weekend in Milwaukee for the Mama Tried Show. It was my first time ever to the Midwest and it did not disappoint. I got sent to the show through Revolution Motorcycle Magazine, Canadas largest custom motorcycle mag. I covered the show and my trip for them and just wrapped up the story, so check it out in the next issue. Here's some sneak peek photos from the show:
I also got to go to the Harley Davidson Museum while I was in Milwaukee. If you ever get the chance to go to Milwaukee during the Mama Tried weekend, you won't be let down. There is so much to do there in a 3 day trip, especially if you're a motorcycle fanatic. Here's a shot of the Captain America bike from Easy Rider... No it's not the original, but a perfect replica. They have no clue where the original is (apparently..) I'll put up more shots after the story is released!
I went down to New Braunfelds in Southern Texas for the Giddy Up Vintage Chopper Show. I covered the story for Revolution Motorcycle Magazine, so you'll have to wait for the article to come out to get the full story and all my photos, but here's a good taster!! The event was really insane. I will be back next year for sure, if I'm fully recovered by then!
I AM STOKED to officially annouce LOSERPALOOZA. A party with a focus on motorcycles, a pig roast, art, tattooing, music and photography. It goes down on Sept. 17th in the Ellis Building @ 1024 Main Street in Vancouver, BC.
LOSERPALOOZA has been heavy in the works for the past couple months. We've got bikes coming from all down the West Coast, artists and photographers from all over the place showcasing their work, and a ton of local and non-local people coming to help out and hang with us in YVR.
The event is sponsored by Loser Machine, Biltwell, Coors Banquet, Fast Times Magazine and OF COURSE Road Apples!
To celebrate the announcement, Biltwell has donated 5 helmets for us to giveaway. Go to the @loserpaloooza Instagram page and tag 4 members of your crew. At the end of this week, we will send each one of you a full-face Biltwell Gringo!
Check out the poster below made by Loser Machine and the announcement video made by Blaine Connolly.
We can't wait! See you all in a couple months.
