Zach Iddings came out to the Strangers Paradise house a couple weeks ago in Joshua Tree to put together this video of what exact we do out there - get weird.
Hotel Tacoma: Not 100% sure what I'm getting myself into this weekend, but after watching this video - I think it's going to be good. Last year was the first year that Toyota did their "Hotel Tacoma" activation in Arizona. They invited 96 influencers, athletes, Insta cool peeps, and all around awesome people to their "5-Star" 3-day adult-play place in the middle of no where, gave them all a truck, Yamaha dirt bike & Polaris side by said and let them go to town. This year the event is somewhere in Oregon and I only know that because I'm flying into Portland... Let the games begin dudes!! I am so ready. I will do another post when I get home. In the meantime, follow along on mine and Jenny's Instagram accounts: @actuallyitsaxel & @hookersandpopcorn
Lana took some photos at the Strange Vacation house we rented down in Joshua Tree during Babes Ride Out. Check them out on the SV site HERE. Jenny just called me and told me that she's already locked in the house we staying in for next years BRO... pretty stoked to go back down to Dusty's Ranch!! These babes are ruling.
The ladies at Strange Vacation let me review their pullover sweater they call the 'Moto Rugby'. It's cold as fuck up here in Vancouver right now, so it was pretty good timing. This long sleeve is a thick cotton with extra elbow padding that feels really good under a jacket. I'm weirdly lanky so the extra long sleeves rule. I'm wearing an X-Small in the pictures below by Blaine Connolly. It's listed on their website here: www.strangevacation.com
Babes Ride Out 3 was a massive event this year with over 1,200 ladies in attendance. It was my first year at the event so I flew down, got hooked up with a 2015 48' Harley Davidson from the boys at Glendale Harley in LA and rode to Joshua Tree, CA with over 50 ladies who showed up at the pre-Babes Ride Out meet-n-greet at the dealership. The event was more than I could have ever imagined it was going to be in terms of structure, vibes, music and good looking chicks! Thanks to Ashmore and Anya who put so much hard work into something like this and giving me a reason to come explore the desert on an amazing motorcycle with hundreds of fucking killer girls. I brought along a shitty film camera and decided to just post the photos that I developed from it, so here ya go:
My two mega-babe friends launched a motorcycle-based clothing line last night. Their leather jacket and striped long-sleeve items are pretty badass and their look book is spot on. Check out STRANGE VACATION.
We just got back from 2 weeks on the road so this mega post is ready to happen. Born Free was really awesome and probably one of the best put together events I have been to. It was the first BF for me and I will for sure be going back next year.
Max Shaaf build this knuckle and rode it all the way to Born Free to raffle it off. Was pretty cool watching someone win this baby.
Tons of road warriors on their way to Cooks Corner to drink a hundred beers
Jangus drove down from Vancouver, BC with his and his buddies bike in the back of his Ford Ranger in less than 24 hours. He got to LA right as the Chun party which was releasing the new Dice Mag was going on. Turns out this naked babe was all over his bike in a couple pages of the new issue. This dude and his bike rules.
TJ from The Shop Vancouver who we drove down from Canada with had painted a tank for the art and fuel show they had set up at Born Free. The artists involved were really inspiring and it was rad how much diversity there was. Tj and The Shop will be giving away the tank he painted over the next couple weeks so keep an eye out for that via @theshopvancouver instagram page.
Chicks at the Babes Ride Out meet up the first day. Was so cool to meet a ton of ladies who I talk to online and who I'll be spending time with this summer. Here's Corinne modelling for Jennys new company Strange Vacation.
Never thought I would be so thankful for clouds.
