A Day on a Street 750

Some of my Vancouver crew and I got the chance to ride these Harley Davidson Street 750s North up past Hope to spend a day adventuring wherever we felt like going. We had a loud as fuck custom 750 and a 100% stock one. They were both super fun to ride and we were ripping them on the freeways, no problem. My dream HD would be a '48 with a big engine which I have had the chance to ride fast and far but these 750's totally do the trick. They were super comfortable and easy to ride. Thanks to Barnes Harley Davidson in Langley for the bikes! Would love to do a shoot up this way soon, the roads are amazing and the mountains and rivers are crazy cool. Here's some pictures we took by be me and my girl Tori Drew!

The Wild Ones

We have announced another killer moto trip that consists of motorcycling around parts of Europe, meeting other ladies motorcyclists and having a dream ride come true. It's called "The Wild Ones" and it will be taking place throughout the entire month of July, 2016.

"The Wild One’s tour celebrates the courage and spirit of women motorcyclists’, inspiring others to explore without boundaries. This July, The Women's Moto Exhibit will ride on motorcycles through the Alps; starting in Austria, moving through Switzerland and ending in Italy. The journey will begin in the small village of Meiming, Austria, travel through the breathtaking Rechen pass, through the hundreds of tight switchbacks of the Oberlap Pass in Switzerland, to the witch shaped mountain of The Matterhorn, and end in the Dolomites of Italy. Not only will the ladies visit historic landmarks and events, they will also meet and connect with communities of women motorcyclists along the way. Their goal is to inspire and share stories; to illustrate that women are capable of anything. Lanakila MacNaughton, photographer of The Women’s Moto Exhibit, will document the journey and share it with the world in real time. Lanakila’s work has been published in many media outlets, including Oprah Magazine, People, Huffington Post, and Elle Online. Her work has been seen as representing this new generation of women riders. The trip is Lanakila’s foray into European territory.

Wanderlust and travel are an endless search for clarity and understanding. This trip will be an adventure and to adventure is to be alive."

Bernadette Murphy: Harley and Me

A good friend of mine, Bernadette Murphy, has put her love for motorcycles and specifically her Harley into words. Bernadette started riding motorcycles at age 48 and tells her story about conquering her fears as well as overcoming stereotypes, life struggles and the process of learning to ride. This book is not released until May but I have had the chance to get my hands on it early enough to let you know it is worth a read.

Women's Moto Exhibit

My girl Lana who runs The Women's Moto Exhibit asked me to shoot for her in California last week. I didn't think anything of it since I'm always just running around taking photos of cool looking people, but it turned out to be a really awesome experience. Having an excuse to walk up to a rad looking lady, ask her about her bike and story and then get to take their photo is actually really satisfying and created some really awesome memories and new friends.

Women's Moto Exhibit

This is Carla. I walked up to her in the desert and asked her about where she was from.

"I just rode from Torrance, California up to Canada then over to Sturgis. The ride was 3900 miles. I took this bike with my husband who has the same one, but his is black & blue."

Babes Ride Out

Babes Ride Out 3 was a massive event this year with over 1,200 ladies in attendance. It was my first year at the event so I flew down, got hooked up with a 2015 48' Harley Davidson from the boys at Glendale Harley in LA and rode to Joshua Tree, CA with over 50 ladies who showed up at the pre-Babes Ride Out meet-n-greet at the dealership. The event was more than I could have ever imagined it was going to be in terms of structure, vibes, music and good looking chicks! Thanks to Ashmore and Anya who put so much hard work into something like this and giving me a reason to come explore the desert on an amazing motorcycle with hundreds of fucking killer girls. I brought along a shitty film camera and decided to just post the photos that I developed from it, so here ya go:

"Babes Ride Out" Meet-up and Ride

Babes Ride Out is coming up soon! I'll be flying down to LA and riding out to Joshua Tree from Glendale Harley Davidson on Friday October 23rd. This is the "official" Meet-Up and Ride and all you lady riders are welcome! Lots of rad stuff going on here, such as a free breakfast supplied that starts at 10am, free maintenance checks, Harley Davidson rentals are only $50/day and we will be riding out with the babes from The Litas Los Angeles! Check Glendales site, or the Facebook event page for more details.

I am also shooting photos for The Women's Moto Exhibit during the BRO3 weekend starting at this meet-up. I'll be shooting a ton of photos the whole time but come find me or let me know beforehand if you'd specifically like your picture taken for the site/instagram!

For my hometown ladies in Vancouver, I've put together this "Pre-Dream Roll" ride for Friday afternoon. We will meet at The Shop Vancouver at 5:30pm and ride up Mount Seymour. Quick rip and good talks about everyones plans. Even if you're not attending Dream Roll, you are totally welcome to come as well!
